The practice of tinkering is the use of matrieals, science, and technology to produce new means of invention to help or destory as the tinker sees fit, and depending on skill. Tinkers have a harried reputation on the sphere, where their craft is often viewed as ungoldly, or operating in direct opposition to the will of the gods in their attempts to affect the mortal relam. For that reason, most tinkers abstain from worship and practice their craft in solitude, but tend to befall unfortunate accidents in life.
A tinkers first goal is to make a mechanical watch movement that keeps in line with the rise and fall of the moon, for predicting and placing the passage of time. Once this has done, their first step towards tinkerdom is accomplished.
